Booking

Do I need to book?

We always advise booking in advance in order to guarantee yourself a table, and therefore service. You can book easily and quickly online here or by calling the venue directly on 0121 764 5519. However, we do take walk-in bookings, so if it is a spur-of-the-moment booking, we will try to get you sat down, should we have a table available and suitable for you.

What happens if I’m running late for my booking?

If you are running over 5 minutes late, please let us know by contacting the venue on 0121 764 5519 and we will try our very best to still accommodate you.

Can I stay in the venue after
 my booking time has finished?

If we have availability, we will always welcome you to stay in our venues longer than your original time slot, so please just ask your server. However, unfortunately, as we are practicing social distancing by only offering table service, you will not be able to stand at the bar should your table be booked for after your booking.

How can I book or make a change to my booking?

We kindly ask that all booking requests are sent through via our online system. You can do this by making a booking for smokey barrels here. If you need to make any amendments to your booking, don’t worry, all we need you to do is reply to the confirmation email we have sent you or by calling on 0121 764 5519

What is the deal with the deposit?

We ask for a £5.00 per person deposit on bookings for 6 people and over.

The Venue

Is there a dress code?

Our dress code is smart casual.

Are children allowed in the venue?

Children under 12 years old are allowed in the venue until 9pm every day of the week. However, children must be accompanied by an adult at all times

Do I need ID?

Yes. We operate the challenge 25 scheme, so to be safe rather than sorry, we advise everyone to bring suitable proof of ID. If you look younger than 25, we will ask for ID but please, take it as a compliment, show us and let us whip you up whatever drink you fancy.  suitable ID includes photo driving license or photo passport.

Do you have a cloakroom?

No, unfortunately we do not.

What type of music do you play?

When visiting a smokehouse and grill, what else would you listen to other than western!

Do you have disabled access?

Yes, we have disabled access and facilities. Our staff are on hand to help with anything.

What times are you open?

We are open, for food: from 12 noon until 9 pm / for drinks: from 12 noon until 10:30pm

Do you have child changing facilities?

Yes, we do.

Do you have free wifi?

Yes, we do.

Do you have parking?

There is free parking at smokey barrels, which allows you to park overnight. However, you do need to register your number plate on your arrival.

Is there a designated smoking area?

Yes, we have a beer garden where smoking is allowed, or an outdoor area as long as it is 5 meters away from the main entrance door.

Food & Drink

Do you serve halal food?

Yes, our spice menu is halal. Please speak with your server.

Do you have a children’s menu?

Yes we do have children’s menu. Please speak to your server on the day.

Do you have happy hour?

Unfortunately, we don’t have happy hour drink offers but when we do have drinks offers, you can follow our socials to find out with everybody else. We also offer deals on shots, please ask a member of our bar team on the day for all offers.

Do you cater for allergies/ special dietary requirements?

Of course, drop us a message on social for any questions. If you have a booking with us, please email us your request and place your order one day before your arrival. We have many dishes on our menu available to cater for all allergies, some dishes can even be adapted to suit your needs. If you are already in venue, our staff are there to help you with any questions.

What is the ordering process?

We offer table service only so please sit back, relax, and let our staff look after you.
